You are cordially invited to A Summer Reading of Moss Sutra, a new chamber opera by Yi Qian (2022 Opera America IDEA Opera Residency Recipient). Abagael Cheng will be performing as a featured soprano soloist, including taking on the role of The Fan. With Wesley Chinn serving as Music Director, and an ensemble of musicians and artists from across New York City, this world premiere performance is the culmination of a week-long workshop on this oratorio about losing oneself to boundlessness.
